Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape) is one of the most famous beaches in Croatian Adriatic. It is located on south side of island Brac, near settlement Bol, in region of Central Dalmatia.
You can get to beach Zlatni Rat by renting a boat or taxi boat in almost any settlement or town in Central Dalmatia. If you are coming by car or by foot, you can take a ferry in Split and get to island Brac and then take a bus or water taxi to get to town Bol or beach Zlatni Rat.
Beach Zlatni Rat is around 1000 m long pebble beach. Top of the beach changes shape and position depending on wind.
Beach Zlatni Rat is very attractive for windsurfing.
Near beach Zlatni Rat is settlement Bol with shrine. In Bol you can visit Dominican monastery from 1475. with a church of Our Lady of Grace. You can also visit gallery Branislav Deskovic, founded in 1963. with over 400 artwork about coastal region. Bol is the only settlement on south side of island Brac.
